How do digital products work?

All of my artworks are drawn and created digitally. I upload my prints as JPEG files and in a range of different sizes. 

Once you purchase a digital product from my store, these files are sent to you immediately and you have the freedom to print them in any size you choose :)

Where do I find my digital product downloads?

Customers who have purchased a digital product are automatically emailed a download link where you can access all the files included in your purchase. 
How easy is that?!

Where should I print my digital products?

Not to worry introverts, rest easy knowing that you can print from the comfort and ease of your own home!

you can also print from a print store, or an online printing service.

While it is super convenient printing from the comfort of your home, if you are printing at a size larger than A4, I always recommend a professional printing company or business to ensure the quality is not affected.

What size prints do you offer?

With the purchase of each of my prints, you will receive 4 different ratio sizes, meaning you can print in dozens of sizes without the hassle of resizing or making the image blurry!

You will receive the following for each print you download:

2:3 RATIO JPG | for printing:
Inch > 4x6, 6x9, 8x12, 10x15, 12x18, 16x24
Cm > 10x15, 20x30, 30x45, 40x60, 50x75, 60x90

3:4 RATIO JPG | for printing:
Inch > 6x8, 9x12, 12x16, 15x20, 18x24
Cm > 15x20, 22x30, 30x40, 38x50, 45x60

4:5 RATIO JPG | for printing:
Inch > 4x5, 8x10, 12x15, 16x20
Cm > 10x12, 20x25, 24x30, 28x35, 30x38, 40x50

Paper Sizes > A6, A5, A4, A3, A2

What type of paper should I print on?

The paper you choose depends entirely on your desired look. Some like a glossy photo paper while others prefer a paper with less sheen, while some customers prefer printing straight onto a canvas.

The quality of the paper / ink may effect certain colours of the print.

What if I want a size you do not offer?

If you require a print size I have not offered, please feel free to message me and I will do my best to resize the art print to your requirements.

Please note that this may not always be possible.


How can I place an order for a custom illustration?

To place an order please see our 'how to order' page, which will walk you through all the steps needed to place an order.

Once you've read through the steps, fill out the form on the 'Contact Us' page, or simply message us through our instagram account to place an order :)

How long until I receive my custom illustration?

At Simplistic Prints AU we pride ourselves on our quick turn around time. Once the order has been accepted and placed, your custom print will be completed within 5 business days.

Please note that if changes are requested after the completion of a drawing, it may take more than the standard 5 day turnaround period.

All orders will be sent digitally via email.

Will I have the chance to review the illustration and request changes?

Yes absolutely !!

Once the drawing is complete we will send you a copy to review. At this point you are welcome to request changes, such as adjusting certain colours or shapes. Most customers also use this time to decide upon their background colours and designs, as well as text options.

Any reasonable request for changes will be made and we will again provide you with a copy to check you are satisfied with the changes made.

We will only finalise and send you your print once you are 100% happy with the final product :)

Can you turn any photo into a custom illustration?

Providing us with photos that are both of sharp quality and in bright lighting will allow us to easily turn your favourite memories into art.

Can you merge multiple photos together?

We absolutely can !

In fact a large number of our orders come from customers wanting multiple images merges together.
A popular request, is to add in relatives/friends/pets who have passed away, into a more recent photo, so that they will forever be apart of that special moment.

We love being able to create these special illustrations for you and are more than happy to use multiple photos and merge them into the one custom drawing.

Can I add text to my custom illustration?

Yes absolutely ! We can add in any text for an additional $5.

We actually offer a range of fonts in both print and cursive. Please check out our 'Custom Illustration' page for more info and examples.

What backgrounds are availabe for a custom illustration?

We offer a range of FREE background options for your convenience!

These background designs are pre-made and can be added into your custom illustration free of charge, including the option to customise the colours to your exact needs.

How do I pick the right photo for a custom illustration?

The best things to look out for when choosing a photo to turn into an art print are:

  • Lighting - bright lighting where the subjects features are visable work best.

  • Positioning - photos in which your subjects are fully within the frame and at a reasonable distance work best.

  • Quality - photos with sharp focus and quality are the easiest for us to work with.

    We will always be truthful in whether we believe a photo will work well, and we are more than happy to work with you in finding that perfect photo! So please feel free to reach out and ask for assistance :)

What are the prices for custom illustrations? 

Custom illustrations have set prices based off 2 features

1 - drawing style you choose, ranging from simple designs to full detail

2 - the number of people/pets you would like included.

These prices may vary with requested changes or add ons.

What is your return policy for physical products?

Please note we have different policies for physical prodcuts and digital downloads.

For physical products:

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

We do no accept returns or exchanges if the customer has ordered the wrong size, colour, or simply changed their mind.

However, in case of a damaged product or a manufacturing error, we can offer a return or exchange within 30 days of product delivery. Please head over to our "contact us" page and provide a clear photo showing the issue as well as any relevant order details. 

What is your return policy for digital downloads / custom illustrations?

For all digital downloads / custom illustrations:

Certain types of items unfortunately cannot be returned, these being custom products and digital products.

We do not accept returns or refunds on these items, as once you have purchased a digital product, you have access to it for life, and we have no way of knowing whether the prints have been downloaded, printed and used.

Custom orders are made specifically to your needs and cannot be returned or exchanged, so please take care when ordering these products.

What if I recieve a damaged or faulty product?

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

In case of a damaged product or a manufacturing error, we can offer a return or exchange within 30 days of product delivery.

If you received a damaged/faulty item, head over to our "contact us" page and provide a clear photo showing the issue as well as any relevant order details. 

When can I expect my refund?

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us and let us know so we can work with you to fix any issues.
